I keep finding stuff at the bottom of storage boxes while renovating or cleaning the condo. I figure the following items would be more useful to other people than to me, and listing them here is less work than putting them up on eBay (while I want to get rid of these eventually, I'm not in a huge hurry).
Send me a private email with your best offer if something interest you. I can send pictures of items if it helps.
I suggest ground shipping, but you can ask for overseas mail, insurance, air mail or other options if you want, it'll just cost more. Obviously, I'll try to pack all items in a single box. Prompt payment must be made by Money Order or Personal Check. If paying by check, the latter must clear before the items are shipped. If paying by money order, be sure to use the International form -- the pink one, not the green (the latter cannot be cashed here). Paypal payment can be accommodated if need be -- I only have a Basic account, so credit card payment will have to be refused.
So, without further ado, my current "for sale" list:
PLACEBO PRESS GAME PACK
This is a set of five Placebo Press board/card games: Ebola Monkey Hunt (with expansion set, Power Monkeys), Formula C-Minus, Orcs in the Hood, Trailer Park Gods and Operation Corndog. Each is a self-contained, non-collectible game with minimal production values (think Cheapass) but fun content -- great for beer & pretzel parties! The games are in good condition, with slight creasing at the edge of each game envelope. While the games themselves seem to be complete, they are provided "as is" -- buyer beware!
EXTREME VENGEANCE RPG + MAX DAMAGE SUPPLEMENT
This is a set of two books that let you play Extreme Vengeance, a roleplaying game inspired by action movies. Will you be the next Arnold? Find out with "Extreme Vengeance!" Both books are black&white, one is 80-page, the other 32-page. They contain everything you need to play the game, though you'll have to supply your own dice. (Archangel Entertainment)
SLA INDUSTRY: MORT SOURCEBOOK (WOTC EDITION)
This is a hard-to-find sourcebook for the SLA Industries roleplaying game. It describes the city where the game takes place. This black&white 144-page softcover book is printed on heavy glossy paper. It contains floorplans, equipment, descriptions and tons of details that can be used for any science-fiction game. It's in good condition, though the spine is lightly cracked between pages 97-98 (not enough to make the pages fall out, though).
WARZONE 1ST ED. MINIATURE GAME + JOURNALS
As the name says, this is the first edition, full color miniature rulebook for Warzone. Granted, it's a bit obsolete now, but the pictures and the background info are still accurate and useful. I'm also throwing in two French language "Chroniques de Warzone" mini-magazines (#1 and 2), and the English version "Warzone Chronicles" #3. The latter is especially nice because it's in full color (like the rest) and contains lots of pages of concept painting for Empire Chronopia, Target/Heartbreaker's never-released fantasy mass battle system.
STAR WARS REBEL ASSAULT MOUSE PAD
This is a 11x8.5" plastic/rubber mousepad bearing an image from the old Rebel Assault CD-ROM game. It's out of the box but in very good condition, with minimal wear. Beyond its obvious usefulness, it's great for all Star Wars collectors!
RIFTS: SONIC BOOM NOVEL (ISBN1574570269)
Part 1 of a trilogy taking place in the Rifts(R) universe. Not a bad yarn, but you'll have to gloss over the editing. Standard paperback novel, about 400 pages long.
FANTASY RPG GAMER'S BIBLE
That's the second edition, which covers the game industry up to the year 2000 or so. Neat ressource for any gamer, which covers advice for play, history of the hobby, and many reviews. And, of course, multiple Dork Tower comic strips.
ARCANE MAGAZINES
You've surely heard of Arcane Magazine, a British RPG publication from the mid-1990. It has the distinction of having been a profitable RPG mag, despite being printed in color on thick paper and including tons of useful stuff in each issue (including a complete system-blind setting with maps, seeds and NPCs). The publisher closed it down after a few years not because it lost money, but because the profits were not high enough (compared to, say, a gardening or knitting magazine, which they also did).
Reading those is like a trip to the past, and good for a few laughs, too (twelve years hindsight will do that). Very useful still, and I'm only letting them go because I haven't used them for anything in the past seven years (well above my usual “two years inactive and yer out”).
Note that shipping will be expensive on those – remember that thick paper I mentioned above? Multiply by 128 pages and it gets hefty!
TRIBE 8 GOOD LUCK CHARM
This is a peculiar item. It's a tiny grain of rice that's enscribed with the word “Tribe 8” in English and Chinese. It was then placed in a glass vial and mounted so that you can wear it around the neck as a good luck charm. DP9 had a bunch of them made when the game was first published, but that's probably the first and last time you're going to see one for sale...
