Project 2 is a transhuman cyberpunk setting centered around the concepts of personal identity, freewill, and interspecies relations. If memories and skills alike can be loaded and unloaded at will, what remains of the self? What about morality and ethics -- can they be programmed in as well?

The cyberpunk literary movement is evolving into post-cyberpunk and transhumanism, as shown by authors like Doctorow and Stross. While I love the new material, I want to see if I can keep the cool elements of the original cyberpunk genre but update them to today's standards.
